Bill had been a regular criminal justice trainer at the Santa Rosa Regional Training Center and for the Marin County Sheriff since 1970. The company began by developing a number of technical courses for National Institute of Corrections (N.I.C.); U.S. Marshals Service, the California State Sheriff's Association, California Board of Corrections and for various other training associations using Bill's extensive knowledge of corrections, law enforcement, legal issues of the government workplace and international supervision/management research.In addition to developing training courses, Bill worked as an Assistant Court Compliance Officer in the implementation of State and Federal court orders concerning management of adult and juvenile facilities.NTE continues to expand and grow. As a company, NTE currently specializes in CUSTOMIZED TRAINING for criminal justice agencies and for regional training groups. In 1984 NTE began marketing nationally to government and criminal justice. NTE develops its own copyrighted programmed learning texts that can be easily modified to a specific department's needs and concerns. NTE currently offers over 200 training courses and programs qualified for certification and reimbursement by state and federal authorities. Ms. Naber has many years of experience in the business world. She has been Business Manager of NTE since 1992. Her leadership revised all office and financial procedures, the hiring of new staff, supervision of central office employees and oversight of NTE's many corrections training services. Her education is in Business Administration and Accounting. |
NTE presently has 87 correctional trainers and corrections facilitators. Our Instructors are practicing professionals in law enforcement, corrections, custody services, probation supervision related emergency services. Individually and as teams, NTE presenter are available with very little notice and can travel.
We are proud to be associated with the International Association of Correctional Training Personnel (IACTP), the American Corrections Association (ACA), and the American Jail Association (AJA), and supporters of the National Institute of Corrections (NIC) in their constant efforts to improve the corrections profession.
